Περιγραφή
The Centre for people with disabilities is located in Bologna, but it has many other locations, also out of Bologna where volunteers might be asked to carry on activities. The volunteers will be mostly inserted in the socialising and integration activities for the users, such as the social-recreational activities of the centre, and the participation to the initiatives promoted by the territory. Besides, they are expected to work side by side with the staff members in some daily common activities (workshops, physical activity, external activities and special events, excursions etc).
Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
The volunteer will share the room with another volunteer (same-sex) in an apartment with all facilities, shared with other volunteers (local or international). The flat is composed by 2 double bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen connected with the dining room. There is wi-fi and washing machine. The volunteer will receive food money, based on the costs of living. From Monday to Friday lunch will be provided by the centre. The volunteer will receive the annual urban bus ticket.
Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα
General Online Training, Linguistic support, Pre-departure training, On-arrival training, Mid-term evaluation, Annual European Solidarity Corps events. Volunteers will attend training with non-formal methods about the development of soft skills.
Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος
The volunteer should have an interest in the social integration of disabled people, sensitivity towards their demands and needs. Previous experience in the field of disability would also give us an interesting opportunity for sharing best practices. Basic knowledge of Italian is needed.
