They come from all over Denmark and a few of them from abroad. The school is located in the west coast of Jutland and focuses on preparing its students for the Danish general upper secondary school called gymnasium. The school offers education in Danish language and literature, Maths, English, German and Social studies. In natural sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Biotech. In addition VGE offers Computer programming, App design, History, Chinese, Spanish, French and Latin. Great effort is made in the fields of art, theater, creative writing and music. Sport is also taught.
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
The volunteer will preferably be living in a host family, but it is also a possibility to live at the school. Public transportation to Varde and Esbjerg exists, but it will be a great advantage to ride a bike. The school can provide one for the volunteer.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
The volunteer will attend 2 trainings organized by the Danish national agency both on-arrival and mid-term.

- at least 20 years old - kind, yet responsible in the relations with the students - ambitious and likes to share skills and knowledge - friendly, out going, engaged, flexible and responsible - fluent in German and at least basic knowledge of English - non-smoker
