Description
Stichting Talentis De Vlechter/ De Springplank is a primary school for children from 4-12 years old, where the starting point of learning lies within nature. They have a nature experience garden where children are learning by for example smelling, colours and insects. The basis of English education is by music. Besides music, children are stimulated in their creativity in various fields. Another asset of this school is the education in computer programming and media literary in general.There are huge opportunities within the school for the right volunteer. The volunteer will assist in teaching English and programming. Further media literacy will be improved by encouraging the children to make movies and making websites. Depending on the interests and talents of the volunteer, he/she can help the professional with cultural activities, for example music, dance, acting.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
Transport will be by bike. Food allowance and pocket money are provided. Accommodation you will have your own room. You will live in a house with three other volunteers. You are part of a group of ca 10 volunteers
Training during the activity
You will have a on-arrival and mid-term training. Furthermore, there are many possibilities for learning on the job.

Open-minded, social, energetic and creative youngsters who have affinity with children and are interested in music, acting, dance, nature, craftmanship and sustainability. Furthermore, he or she likes to organize and plan events and teach children.
