Contributing to the cultural development of the town. The activities want to promote the use of the library and increase the interest in literature, of adults as well as children. Some of the objectives of the activities are: Reduce cultural and educational inequalities of the population, facilitate the access to cultural goods and democratize information. Create a collective consciousness of the value and importance of the library as an information resource. Offer the idea that the library is for everyone to the public and that even non-readers can find something interesting. The Centre Obert “La Tribu” is a service of socio-education during free time, that offers help for children with lower possibilities. It promotes the development of the personality and socializing among kids, it’s also aimed to help children and young people from 6 to 12 years to acquire basic competences and also compensates some social limitations. Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten

The volunteers will be living in a house in the countryside and sharing a room (4-6 persons per room) Common spaces (dining room, kitchen, bathroom, open areas) have to be shared. Pocket money: The volunteers will receive pocket money each month: 5 euros per day. Food: the volunteer will be cooking in groups, the food will be supplied by the coordinating organization + a basket of ecological and seasonal vegetables from our insertion company. Transport: if necessary, the volunteer will be offered a second-hand bike. Volunteers can go walking to the project or go by bike.

Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit

- The first week the volunteers will have a "welcome week" - On arrival and mid-term training provided by the Spanish National Agency - Cultural presentation during the first months of volunteering. - Catalan language course - Activities of knowledge of the territory - Workshops on ecological agriculture and sustainable cooking - Complementary training and activities during the project will be organized.

• Active volunteer, dynamic, with ideas, friendly, with communication skills, empathetic, assertive and open to know people from different cultures. • The main requirement is that you are motivated to learn and to take initiative, and that you love working with kids and teens. • We value positively the interest and expertise in leisure, education, culture and social work with youth and children. • We require a basic level of Spanish language in order to integrate quickly and understand what to do.
