Kolding Youthschool organizes different kind of activities primarily focusing at non-formal learning. Kolding Youthschool has 7 Youth Clubs targeting children in the age of 10-13 years and 8 Youth Clubs targeting youngsters in the age of 13-17 years. The Youth Clubs for the children at 10-13 years are open in the afternoon, while the Youth Clubs for the youngsters are open in the evening. We are looking for a volonteer, who would like to join our organization for half a year, and during this project period will help us develop our existing practice, and who would like to form a smaller creative project together with the youngsters, and bring it into life. You will become colleagues with a team of two or three people, and you will enter as an equal. Therefore, you will be part of the planning, hosting and evaluation – we expect you to host an activity once a week.
Сместување, храна и транспорт
You will be assigned your own room in a shared apartment. The apartment is shared with two other ESC participants, and together you will jointly be responsible for the apartment and groceries. Nearby the apartment, you will find a shopping center with a movie theatre. Also you will live quite close to the middle center of Kolding You will receive pocket money ~ EUR 150,00 per month. Kolding Youthschool will provide proper transportation for example bicycle, moped or public transport
Training during the activity
You will be enrolled in our Danish language course, and we expect you to actively use the Danish language in the daily lift
Participant profile
You are highly motivated and open-minded working with children and youngsters. The children and youngsters are very curious, and therefore we expect you being willing to share your culture and knowledge. Persons who are attracted of getting practice/experience within approaches in the field of youth work and some social work targeting the age group 13-17 years should consider applying for this ESC project. If you have skills and ideas you want to bring into the project, please do so. We’ll talk much more about your ideas during skypemeetings, and also in the beginning of the project.
