Supported by ICE-RF, the Institution St Joseph of Strasbourg wants to host a volunteer in his structure. This experience will give the opportunity to the volunteer to get engaged in a project, to contribute to his/her French level, give him/her autonomy and independence, a maturity in her/his personal and professional life. The "Institution St Joseph" is accredited "Maison d'Enfants à Caractère Social (MECS) " to host 60 children and teenagers from 3 to 18 years old in social and familial difficulties. It is a temporary host place, where each young can grow and open up afar from difficulties which have motivated his placement. The volunteer's activities are based on the children's following and the realization of activities.
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
The volunteer will have an apartment with a kitchen and a bathroom which will be shared with another volunteer. Each volunteer will have his own bedroom. Meals can be shared with the group. The volunteer will receive money for weekends. The host organisation will make arrangements to make easier the moving of the volunteer through the city. French language courses will be provided through the online linguistic support.
Formação durante a atividade
The volunteer will take part at trainings organised by the National Agency. Before the beginning of the voluntary, in august 2020, he has to take part on a 2,5 weeks preparation, which included french courses, administrative tasks and many other interesting activities. This seminar is good to meet other volunteers. It's organised by the coordinating organisation ICE-RF. 2 months and 8 months after the beginning the volunteer is invited to take part on another seminars organised by ICE-RF.
