Primary school is looking for a long-term volunteer. School provides primary education for children from 7 to 11 years old kids. The foreseen activities for the volunteer are the following: helping with everyday life and routine in school - participation in educational processes, hiking trips, excursions, etc. Our school values the possibility to personally know and cocreate with a person from the other country as well as the possibility to indirectly know another culture and country with its similarities and differences. The possibility to practically practice English and other languages is also very valuable. The volunteer could share personal talents and hobbies like playing musical instruments, drawing and also have knowledge in math because volunteer will assist math teacher. Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
Volunteer will be accommodated in a rented apartment in Trakai together with other volunteers, each volunteer will have a separated room. Volunteer will be provided with monthly allowance (food and pocket money).
Perfil do participante
We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic person with an open-ness for learning and self-development. The person will help create space for learning, communication, connection, exploration, creativity and healthy activity for children aged between 7 and 11 in an innovative project based centre for learning. As part of an active team, the person should have good communication skills, be a team player and be able to engage and connect with the children in the centre. Ideally they also bring something to share from their own culture and country, including something from their own skill-basket
