Description
The aim of the mission is to promote our FCM Youth mobility makers platform www.youthmobilitymakers.com for young people while contributing to the conception of animations/activities and tools. The volunteer will be in charge of communication about our projects by different means at our disposal (facebook group and page, instagram profile etc.) and of boosting partnership in the field of youth mobility between Lille and its twin cities. The other available activities can be proposed by the hosting organisation and/or initiated by the volunteer. For instance, the volunteer will set up a buddy system between young people who already went abroad and those who have the project to travel. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The volunteer will have accommodation provided by the CRIJ Hauts-de-France. He/she will live in a single rented room with a shared kitchen in the residence. The accommodation is fully furnished and is located in the city center close to public transport stations (bus and metro). Each month the volunteer will receive pocket money (7 euros/day) and food allowance of 220 euros. CIGNA medical insurance is also provided. The volunteer receive the monthly amount to cover her monthly transport card (bus, metro). Travel tickets will be bought by the hosting organization or refunded to the volunteer.
Training during the activity
The volunteer will take part in different trainings proposed by our organisation and/or our local partners. For exemple, the training for the "young ambassadors" of the regional mobility platform "Ready to Move! Hauts-de-France".
Participant profile
The hosted volunteers should be curious and willing to spread their knowledge and experience through means of information for young people. They should be responsible, trust-worthy and eager to contribute to our projects. Community management skills and at least basic knowledge of French are appreciated. We are mostly looking for dynamic volunteers giving preference to the candidates available to start soon, registered on the FCM and coming from twin cities: Erfurt ( Germany) Liège (Belgium) Rotterdam (Netherlands) Valladolid (Spain) Esch-sur-Alzette (Luxembourg) Turin (Italy) Wroclaw
