The “Ecole Internationale” is located in Manosque (France). The teaching system which runs from Kindergarten to Baccalaureate (3-18 years old), currently has 6 language sections English, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese and Japanese. The main axes of the school are: - Axe 1: Adapting pedagogy to the public, the issue of bilingualism / multilingualism and interculturality - Axe 2: Promoting the success of all students, certification and international mobility including return to the country of origin - Axe 3: Opening the establishment to its local and international environment The volunteer will provide support to teachers in language learning through playful and educational activities. He/she will also be involve for the planning, organisation and supervision of projects organized by the school. The volunteer will also have time to improve the use of the French language, and build his/her personal project. The NGO Hors Pistes will be the coordinating organisation
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
Food The volunteer will get a budget to cover the food expenses. The volunteer will cook the meals by himself; all standard cooking equipment is provided in the house. He/She also eat at school for lunch. Accommodation The volunteer will be hosted in a private and independent studio-flat, full equipped, shared with another volunteer. Local transport : The collectives transports are free in the city of Manosque.
Formação durante a atividade
The volunteers will participate to the 2 seminars organised by the french national agency during the first month after their arrival and after 6 months as mid term seminar. The coordinating organisation Hors Pistes will also organise some trainings in Marseille with regional EVS coordinated.
Perfil do participante
The volunteer needs to be between 18 and 30 years old. He/She doesn’t need to have a diploma to apply to the EVS but we would like someone who is: - Motivated by the mission - Open minded and able to communicate with other people - Sensitive to the discovery of other cultures - Interested by arts - Ready to invest him/herself with children between 3 and 18 years old who have different cultures
