Are you interested in social inclusion and equal opportunities? Join this rewarding ESC project and help improve the quality of life for people with disabilities in the municipality. As a volunteer, you will work alongside local associations to promote accessibility, independence, and well-being. Your role will be essential in ensuring equal access to resources and social policies while supporting their daily activities and personal development. Your activities will include: ✅ Organize fun and stimulating activities like group games, arts & crafts, pottery, basketball, swimming, and excursions;
 ✅ Support psychomotor development through engaging exercises;
 ✅ Supporting activities for learning English and improving Spanish orthography; ✅ Raise awareness about equal opportunities and accessibility in the community.

Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης

The volunteer will live in a shared rental apartment with 3 other young people from different ESC projects, creating a multicultural and supportive environment. You will have a single or shared room with shared common areas (bathroom, kitchen, and living room) the apartment is fully furnished and located in a central area of the city. You will receive monthly financial support in the form of pocket money and food allowance covered by the grant. Elche is a relatively small city where public transport is not necessary to reach the project destinations; the city hall can provide a cicle

Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα

To help you get the most out of your experience, you will join an on-arrival training and a midterm evaluation, developing new skills through non-formal education tools. This will help you: - understand your project better, reflecting on your progress, challenges, and achievements - get to know other ESC volunteers all around Spain, sharing experiences and ideas - discover personal and professional development opportunities and how to make the most of the experience. Also, you will always count on the support from your hosting organization to guide you through your volunteering experience

Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος

We are looking for motivated young people between 18 and 30 years old from any country of the European Union, ready for working with this area. Eager to connect with the local community, with his own initiative. Certain knowledge of European information and project management and tools.
