• There is Waldorf Kindergarten founded 22 year in Szekszárd in Tolna county. In 2 groups there are 40 children, aged 3-6. Teachers would like to provide open and creative basis for the children to develop their personality. • Teachers carry out all activities based on the Waldorf method, which offers children the possibility to choose on the one hand, and supports their independent decision-making and problem-solving skills on the other. • Parents and volunteers are also involved in the use of this method, e.g. create games and development tools together, and have the opportunity to provide information about the method. • The kindergarten has weekly and daily schedules, planned the development fields: • Get to know the outside world– get to know the nature • Healthy lifestyle- Tales, poems, drawing,handicraft • “Playing with numbers” –Figures • Traditions: songs, habits,dance • Moving: – Gymnastics.
Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
The volunteers will be hosted in a private house in the city center. The house will be fully equipped (kitchen, fridge, washing machine, internet availability, furniture, beddings and cutlery) ensuring their safe hygienic and pleasant experience. The volunteer receive pocket money and food allowance every month according to the rules of the programme. For the international transportation costs the flights must follow the amount stated by the rules of the new program ERASMUS+.

• The aim of introducing volunteers in kindergartens is to involve small children into intercultural activities, as the early age makes the acquisition of tolerance and acceptance easier than in a latter age. • Getting to know a new culture (e.g.: its festivals, habits etc.) is a good opportunity for the volunteer, too, just like it is to try herself in a different working situation. • Volunteers prepare and and implement thematic, development sessions as well as taking part in informal games. • Creativity of the volunteers are counted on so their willingness in teaching rhymes
