The Budde Haus is a sociocultural centre. The center has a small garden, garden house, sculpture house and a beer garden. In the focus are offers and courses in the areas of culture, education and encounters. Diverse cultural initiatives and associations are both long term and temporal residents of the Budde Haus. Budde Haus offers a wide range of programs: movies and literature, art and concerts, festivities. The target group of the events are residents living in the area. The aim of the center is to create an open, vivid cultural location which satisfies demands in the areas of culture, free time and social contacts. The task of the volunteer is to support the team in admin. and organisational tasks. Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
Normally all the volunteers live in shared flats: have their own room but share a kitchen and a bathroom with 3 other volunteers. Food money will be paid out to you as well as money to buy the local transportation monthly ticket or you just buy a bike. Leipzig is a very nice city to ride a bike. You get monthly 558 Euros.
Formação durante a atividade
We will help you to find a German language course which fits your needs and level. The volunteer will also attend two seminars for volunteers organized by the National Agency. The volunteer will work on some weekends and get day offs during the week, the working hours (30 h/week) will depend on the events (concerts, festivals, exhibitions), so there will be sometimes shifts in the evening (until 11 pm). Perfil do participante
We are looking for one volunteer, who: - has around B1 level of German knowledge; - is interested in art and music, creative and open-minded; - like working with people; - is fit to help with arrangements of tables, carrying drinks. Possible tasks are: preparation of the weekly program, administrative work (answering emails/calls), preparation of the rooms before and after the events, basic cleaning, moderating the facebook/instagram page, photo-documentation during events.
