Beschreibung

As a Placement Officer, you will support the organisation with a wide range of administrative, communication and logistical tasks. Activities include communicating with international partner organisations, preparing and distributing placement documents, handling volunteer applications, supporting procedures, maintaining project and participant databases, answering enquiries, and keeping information materials up to date.

The role may also include managing payments, supporting logistics, helping with arrivals and departures, and contributing to social media and communication activities. Tasks can vary throughout the year depending on the needs of the organisation. Flexibility, initiative and the ability to adapt to changing situations are important, and we encourage you to take responsibility and try new things.

Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten

During the workcamps, participants stay in fully equipped houses and usually share double or quadruple rooms. Beds and bed linen are provided, along with Wi-Fi and access to a washing machine.

Food ingredients are provided, and everyone is expected to share cooking and cleaning responsibilities. The diet is mainly vegetarian, with vegan options available, and includes a balanced variety of grains, seasonal fruits and vegetables, dairy products and other basic ingredients.

Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit

Participants will receive training and guidance from our organisation throughout the placement, covering areas such as communication, administration, logistics, teamwork, project coordination, social media, non-formal education and sustainability. They will also take part in official ESC training organised by the National Agency, providing additional support, learning opportunities and space for reflection during their experience.

We are looking for enthusiastic, self-driven candidates who are able to work independently on projects and can bring and implement ideas and all-scale solutions to climate change reduction and sustainable lifestyles. MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook), Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides), Spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets), Writing (Journalism, technical writing) An Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate level of English is required Motivated to live with other international volunteers and lead a sustainable lifestyle and fight global warming.
