IMPORTANT: to apply to this project you MUST use the form available at www.informa-giovani.net/escapply . "I Girasoli" is an NGO dedicated to solidarity and support for refugees and migrants. Volunteers will support the following activities: support for after-school activities, implementation of the Ludo-Bus project for the creation of small artistic events, support for leisure activities aimed at children of young mothers or migrant couples; support for the management of the volunteer camp in an almond grove confiscated from the mafia; support for communication activities: promotional posts/videos and photos; participation in promotional events on EU programmes organised by the host/coordinating organisation.
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
Volunteer will be hosted in double-room shared with another volunteer, within the reception centre. Volunteers will share their daily life with young people hosted by the organisation. Reception centre is equipped with all needed (water, electricity, heating, furniture). Free wi-fi is available. Food is provided by the centre and volunteers will cook together with the others.

On arrival training and Mid-Term Evaluation organised by Italian National Agency + Online Linguistic Support (Italian language)
Perfil do participante
Aged 18-30; strong motivation for working with children and young people; ability to team working, open-minded, sociable, creative, interest in multiculturalism; artistic skills (e.g. juggling, drawing, playing musical instruments) and digital skills are welcome (i.e. Photoshop or other graphic software, video-editing, MS Office Word, Excel, Power Point); flexibility on moving in different places for the activities and, if needed, possibility to change accommodation (periodically or for few days) in order to respect the activity plans; ready to live in small village.
