Join ESC's transformative 'Open Youth Work' project and be a force for positive change in Estonia for 8-12 months. Our mission is clear: to enhance international youth work, promote respect, nurture tolerance, celebrate diversity, and empower young people, youth workers, and communities. As a volunteer, you'll dive into the dynamic daily activities of our youth center. Collaborate with our community partners and unleash your creativity – your ideas and skills are the driving force behind your volunteering journey. Embrace the opportunity to make a global impact and shape a brighter future through 'Open Youth Work.'The participant will be able to co-create their own volunteering journey and contribute with their own ideas and skills. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers, get ready for an exciting journey! Here's what you can look forward to: International transportation reimbursement (up to the max. amount, by the program rules) Health insurance (Henner) Estonian work permit 4€ pocket money per day 6€ food allowance per day Accommodation Work-related transportation, if needed Meetings with other international volunteers A tutor to instruct you at work A life filled with new experiences and lots of joy!

Training during the activity

Volunteers are in for a treat with these fantastic benefits: OLS Estonian language course (English optional) On-arrival and mid-term training with the Estonian National Agency (a great chance to connect with fellow volunteers in Estonia) Work-related training and preparation at the youth center Get ready for an enriching experience!

Participant profile

Our hosting organizations are on the lookout for exceptional individuals who bring their unique qualities and enthusiasm to the table. Ideal candidates have experience working with children and young people or are highly motivated and initiative-driven. They must be proficient in English, possess a genuine passion for youth work, be eager to learn, adaptable, dependable, and enthusiastic about collaborating with young people.
