Kinderladen Hütteldorf is a kindergarten founded by parents and pedagogues for the collective supervision of children aged 2 to 6. The kindergarten is located in Vienna and managed by the parents. Two pedagogues care for 13 children and in their everyday work value most of all respect, room for individual development, and a feeling of security. We let ourselves be guided by the needs of the children and deicide with them the daily activities. As a volunteers, you will be integrated in the daily schedule of the kindergarten and support the pedagogues. This includes welcoming the children, helping them with their clothing, participating in morning circles, and activities such as playing music, dancing, doing arts&crafts, cooking and baking, and outdoor activities. We welcome the volunteer to give input to all our activities and to share their skills, knowledge, and culture. Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
You will be provided with a ticket for the public transport in Vienna. You will receive pocket money and a monthly food allowance. You will stay in a single room at a flat or student dorm, sharing facilities like kitchen and bathroom with others.

On-arrival training and mid-term meeting provided by the Austrian National Agency. Task-related support and training provided by the host organisation. Welcome days, Youthpass workshop, etc. provided by the coordinating organisation Grenzenlos.

WE CURRENTLY CAN UNFORTUNATELY ONLY ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FROM EU RESIDENTS. You should really like to work with children and teachers, be open minded, and motivated to share your culture and ideas. Ideally you are creative and flexible and it would be of advantage if you have basic knowledge of English (or German) to be able to communicate with the team.
