Beschreibung
The StudentInnenkinderhort is a day nursery for children (6-10 years old) organized by the “Verein StudentInnenkinder” (Association for Students´ children) and located at the University Campus in the 9th district in Vienna. During the opening hours a volunteer should be present and interact with the children. You bring your own knowledge and experience from your cultural background. This can be music, dances, tales, cooking receipts, games, sports etc. According to your personal preferences you make the children familiar with your background.PLEASE READ THE DETAILED PROJECT DESCRIPTION ON www.melange.wien
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
You will be provided with a ticket for the public transport in Vienna. You will receive pocket money and a monthly food allowance. You will stay in a single room at a flat or student dorm, sharing facilities like kitchen and bathroom with others. Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
On-arrival training and mid-term meeting provided by the Austrian National Agency. Task-related support and training provided by the host organisation. Welcome days, Youthpass workshop, etc. provided by the coordinating organisation Grenzenlos.
Teilnehmerprofil
WE CURRENTLY CAN UNFORTUNATELY ONLY ACCEPT APPLICATIONS FROM EU RESIDENTS. In the project Studentenkinderhort no specific skills are needed. A volunteer should in general be an open minded, interested in sports and outdoor activities and enjoy working with children. A creative spirit or language skills can be of advantage but are not needed. IMPORTANT !!!
