The activity will be focused on organising a cultural event that will promote different cultures and create an intercultural inclusive space. Moreover, 10 volunteers during the month will be involved in work with Ukrainian refugees in Poland as one of the target groups who will visit the event. They will facilitate for them English Speaking Clubs and workshops which they will develop by themselves. This activity aim to promote respect for human dignity and rights, non-discrimination, tolerance and solidarity. During the participation, volunteers will have an opportunity to cooperate, exploring their differences and culture, as well as contributing to society through their event as a result and helping the people with fewer opportunities - refugees and migrants.
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
Volunteers will be accommodated in a students dormitory in Poznań, they will receive pocket money and food allowance.
Formação durante a atividade
Volunteers will receive pre-departure and on-arrival training from the hosting organization. During the trainings, they will get to know the reality of Poznań, the specifics of the work, the schedules, their rights and obligations and the team.
Perfil do participante
We are looking for a motivated people, who are interested in culture, proactive and not afraid to talk to people! The ideal participant should have a appreciation for culture, with a strong desire to foster understanding and connection among diverse communities. The participant should be open-minded and culturally sensitive. Intermediate English level is a must.
