The youth service (Le Spot) is a service managed by the city of Igny (local authority). This space welcomes young people aged 11 to 25 years old. Le Spot is made of 2 structures: The youth information point informs and supports young people aged 11 to 25 years old on every topic that concern them : job, studies, professional integration, daily life, European and international mobility. The youth area, from 11 to 17 years old, offers fun activities, free reception, and helps them set up projects of all kinds. The youth structure promotes the civic involvement of young people by supporting them and funding their initiatives through a grant. The missions of the volunteer will be: Assisting in the development of workshops around sustainable development for young participants. Taking part in the various activities available within the youth space. Participating in information and project support related to European and international mobility, as well as promoting the ESC.
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
The city provides furnished accommodation with all the necessary amenities : shops, pharmacies, RER, Bus. The volunteer will be hosted in a 45 m2 independent apartment located only 300 meters far from the organisation.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
The volunteer will participate in various workshops or trainings with the city and the Regional Federation of MJC of Ile de France.
Teilnehmerprofil
The volunteer will want to get involved with the young public in order to participate in animation, information, and support times and will be sensitive to issue of sustainable development as well as the protection of nature. He should like to work in a team and have notion of french. (A2/B1)
