CRISTEEL
Lycée Agricole de Pixérécourt
Malzéville, France
Description
The aim of Pixerécourt agricultural college is to open up our young people to other European cultures and give them the opportunity to meet and talk and practice a foreign language, through various events and activities. This will help fight prejudices and to enable a desire for European mobility. Discovering and accepting other cultures is not always easy for some of the students who choose our courses in our school. For others who comefrom under-privileged social and family backgrounds, meeting European cultures is something they have never experienced before), Europe week and Day on the 9 th of May, setting up a games library, etc… Volunteers will be given the opportunity to take part in group educational and cultural visitsor take part in practical activities related to environmental protection and management. The dates of the beginning are flexible (between October and November).

The volunteer will take part in an arrival seminar and a mid-term seminar organized by the French Agency.
Participant profile
Our aim is to welcome two young volunteers with two different but complementary profiles, and who will have to work together on certain activities in the two proposed missions. Therefore, work will be even more interesting and complementary because their tasks will overlap at several points. This cross-disciplinary experience will be very enriching for them. Further, it will help to develop solidarity between young people, promote active citizenship and foster mutual understanding between them. APPLICANT 1 A young person who can bring European cultures to life and facilitate the acquisition of one or more languages through practice. The stay of this young volunteer could take on a more practical and human dimension by favouring direct contact over several months (9 months).
