Περιγραφή

Your tasks will primarily include fostering community engagement, representing Ljubljana Pride Association at events, talking and engaging visitors, soliciting donations, boosting event participation, securing new newsletter subscribers, driving conversations on social media, and mobilizing our community for impactful actions, protests, and elections. The work will be carried out in the office and often in the field (including being present at Ljubljana Pride Association’s events, other public events, and protests). Ljubljana Pride Association is mainly known as the organiser of the annual LGBTIQ+ Pride Parade. The purpose of the Ljubljana Pride Festival is to give space and a greater voice to LGBTIQ+ artists, topics, demands, organisations as well as to demand political and social change. We are a youth-led, anti-racist, feminist, LGBTIQ+ association that is active all year long and is fighting the discrimination of all LGBTIQ+ people and their intersectional identities.

The project includes: Fully funded travel and accommodation; Covered food expenses and pocket money; Mentoring and Youthpass certificate; Health insurance.

Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα

You will be included in the daily work and activities of the association. You will be supported by a working coordinator and a personal mentor. During your activity, you will participate in an on-arrival and mid-term training organised by the national agency, where you will get to meet the other ESC volunteers in Slovenia.

Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος

LGBTIQ+ EU resident between 18-30 years old; Have a strong interest in LGBTIQ+ organisations, topics and activism; Responsible, sociable and proactive; Well organised and structured; Comfortable with working in office environments and having an office routine; Fluent in English and Slovene; Interested to engage (with) Slovenian LGBTIQ+ community, including online and offline mobilization for participation at events, actions, donations; Have previous volunteering or working experience in the field of LGBTIQ+ and/or member engagement, networking, communication, fundraising;
