Moreover, volunteers will take part in two seminars, conducted by the German National Agency (one during the first weeks of the project and one in the middle).
Participant profile
The motivation of the volunteer to do a voluntary service and work with children is the most important criteria in selecting the volunteers. Other criteria might be: - very good English language skills (B2/C1), since the children are bilingual - basic knowledge of the German language is an advantage, but not mandatory - desirable: initial experience in the field of education - creative, technical, sports and/or musical skills - interest in the Montessori principles Since the majority of the ecutors is female, we would prefer male applicants. Since 2021, it is obligatory that people working in kindergardens in Germany have a measles immunisation.
