Description

Become a volunteer in Frýdek-Místek at our socio-therapeutic workshop, which supports adults aged 18-65 with mental disabilities or related challenges. Our mission is to help clients develop and maintain work habits. Activities: As a volunteer, you will assist clients during various therapeutic workshops, including creative and woodcraft sessions. You will teach essential work procedures such as woodworking, cutting, and sawing. You can also suggest new working methods or changes. Together, you will create unique projects while focusing on social skills and work habits. You will help clients practice basic hygiene (washing their faces, brushing teeth), getting dressed, putting on shoes, and completing tasks like locking and unlocking doors, preparing simple meals, and making phone calls. Additionally, you will join a debate club with clients, encouraging communication and critical thinking skills. For more information, please visit our website www.intervia.cz.
