Opis
Fundación Tallers is looking for 7 volunteers for a long term European Voluntary project which'll take place from March 2024 to May 2025. Volunteers participating in the project will accompany adult people with intellectual disabilities into the community to achieve an inclusive and accessible society that creates opportunities to every person. For one hand, the activities’ll be developed at the Ocupational Center colaborating with local services doing tasks as horticulture, participation in citizen campaigns, community acts.. For the other hand, there'll be also activities that'll be developed at the Inclusive Leisure service, in activities and in a weekend trips where people with disabilites can have fun and relations with people from the local comunity. During the project'll be new opportunities to share time with people to improve service peolple's quality life.
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
This project is founded by the European Commission through the Solidarity Corps programme. The project covers: Travel costs (up to the limits established in the distance calculator in the Solidarity Corps Guide). Accommodation valorated in 300 eur: you will have a single room in a family house in Santa Coloma de Gramenet. It will be fully equipped (kitchen, bathrooms, washing machine, etc). Supporting money for food. Pocket money
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
With this volunteering there's a mutual benefit of informal education: on the one hand, people with disabilities will have more opportunities to participate and contribute as any other person in their city and, on the other hand, volunteers will enjoy activities of their interest and habilities by sharing quality time with other people and making together a better community and a better city. Volunteers'll recive a training/meeting at the begining, at the middle and at the end of the project. Volunteers'll participate at all the trainings from European Solidarity Corps programme.
Profil uczestnika
Fort the project we're looking people: Sociable, proactive, open-minded, tolerant and creative. It's very important to be motivated to carry out activities with people with intellectual disabilities in a committed way. It's necessary to be flexible and adaptable. Accomodation is in a "family house" so we're looking for someone who has no problems with sharing an apartment. COMMUNICATION SKILLS IN SPANISH are required (beginners level).
