European Association “World-Our Home” is a body active at the European level in the youth field and NGO that works with international and European projects in youth, social, cultural and educational fields from 1999. The main aim of the organization is to promote European citizenship, solidarity, multiculturalism and non-formal education. The project objectives are the following: to give young people opportunities to learn new set of professional skills, gain experience in leadership, team building and communication, develop intercultural dialogue and cooperation between young people and local inhabitants for better employment opportunities in the future. Volunteers will work in the EA "World-Our Home" office and help staff with the social networks, website, communication with partners, project writing etc. Volunteers will work also in other organisations, like local theater, with whom EA "World-Our Home" is cooperating.
Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
Volunteer will live in the flat together with other volunteers from different countries. Flat will be equipped with all necessary household appliances, facilities. Usually 2 volunteers live in separate rooms. Food allowance 150,00 Eur/month Pocket money 5,00 Eur/day. Travel costs 309,00 Eur.
Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα
Volunteers will have opportunity to attend On-Arrival and Mid-term training organized by our Latvian National Agency.
Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος
We are searching for active young people who are ready to participate in our activities. Volunteers work will consist of help the staff in their daily work, help in the preparation of seminars, youth exchanges, meetings, communication with partner organisations, help in organizing various events and provide information about volunteering for young people. Volunteer will be responsible about EA "World-Our Home" website and facebook page. Good English knowledge is required.
