Support in the development of advocacy activities: ensure advocacy messages are integrated in communication products, support the Advocacy Coordinator and in the update of stakeholders’ analysis, develop advocacy documents, gather inputs from operations, Support the monitoring of the advocacy strategy implementation. Support with the internal coordination for advocacy purposes: monthly context update, share security and access incidents, field visits to ensure concerns are taken into consideration, etc. Support with externa relations’ needs: developing advocacy initiatives, prepare advocacy arguments for donors, support joined advocacy initiatives with partners, etc. Communication and awareness on ESC Aid Volunteers Initiative.
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
Accommodation, travel costs, visa, pre-deployment medical check + vaccinations (only if mandatory for the country), allowance will be covered. In case of need, a Fewer Opportunities Support will also be covered. A monthly Subsistence Lump Sum will be provided to cover basic needs such as food and personal hygiene items.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
Training during deployment will also be offered to improve the volunteer’s skills and competences.
Teilnehmerprofil
Master’s: International Relations, Political Science, International Development or similar. English mandatory. Excellent writing skills. Arabic, French and Spanish considered. Excellent drafting skills, strong analytical and synthetical mind. Understanding of international policies and humanitarian mechanisms. Ability to draft and edit a range of different information materials for various audiences and communication tools (advocacy campaign, key messages, press release). Ability to work in stressful contexts. Capacity to respond to tight deadlines. High level of independence and team player.
