Is the protection of the environment and wildlife a subject close to your heart? Come and discover the association LOANA which fights for the conservation of the biodiversity in Lorraine! For two weeks, the nature animators and naturalists invite you to participate in the maintenance of important natural sites, and the development of spaces for the protection of essential species in the region : birds, amphibians or plants in particular. Come and share warm and festive moments with volunteers from all countries, and discover a beautiful green setting ! The LOANA association aims to study the fauna and flora of our region, enhance and manage our ecosystems while raising public awareness of the preservation of this environment. To do this, it combines with passion and skills the implementation of concrete actions on the ground. On this project, you will be brought to intervene on the natural sites managed all year round by LOANA. It is therefore a sort of itinerant workcamp !
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
You will be accommodated in tents in Favières leisure center, where whasrooms are available. Do not forget your sleeping bag and your mattress. In respect of the environment, all meals are cooked with seasonal, local and organic products. All aspects of the collective life (shopping, meal preparation, cleaning) will be managed by the volunteers themselves, on the basis of an operation that they will have decided in a common way (ex: use of planning, constitution of pairs,...). They will be helped in this task by a collective life animator.
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
Maintenance of ponds for the preservation of species threatened by drought, manufacture and installation of nest boxes for birds, safeguarding of an educational path dedicated to orchids and many other surprises are planned during the workcamp. For each mission, you will be accompanied by an employee of the association LOANA. There are four working days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday). Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays are days dedicated to rest and leisure.
Profil uczestnika
Basic English skills will be needed for you to communicate easily with your team and facilitators. The motivation statement should be written in English.
