Description

Volunteers Initiative Nepal (VIN), is a non-religious, non-political, and non-governmental organization (NGO), established in 2005 by a diverse group drawn from development workers, educationalists, social activists, and other professionals. VIN deploys professional staff teams together with local and international volunteers, in community-based projects aimed at enhancing the livelihoods of poor, marginalized and disadvantaged communities in Nepal. This is done through inclusive and holistic programs. VIN's strategic focus revolves around four central pillars of development: Education, Health & Environment, Economy, and Basic infrastructure. VIN has been working in three districts (Nuwakot, Okhaldunga, and Kathamandu) in Bagmati Province and Koshi Province.
