Only applications received through the above form will be considered. Only pre-selected candidates will be contacted. The focus of the project is on permaculture, agriculture and rural empowerment. Activities will be related to general land management, agriculture and permaculture (e.g. vegetable gardening, picking and processing fruit and vegetables, caring for and watering small trees and plants, small building, craft and art projects using wood and recycled materials). Volunteers will help with the day-to-day management of the land and specific activities may arise from each volunteer's particular skills/abilities. Tasks will be organised in small groups and activities will be rotated.

Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte

Only vegetarian food will be provided for cooking. There will be four glamping tents with mattresses inside. The toilet is a composting one. Outside solar shower is provided. Water comes from a well, and it's possible to fill tanks for personal use. Drinking water comes from public wells provided by the town of Antillo. The warehouse is the only indoor space where cooking will take place and is fully equipped. It is possible to cook with gas or wood. Electricity is only available close to the warehouse. There is a canopy to take shelter from the rain.

Perfil do participante

This activity is suitable for volunteers with an interest in agriculture and permaculture, who enjoy the countryside and hiking. Great spirit of adaptation is fundamental.
