The volunteers involved in the project will participate and help in the daily activities of SFA and help them to develop their work and the lives of disabled people. They will be important part of the team with several different options to contribute and make a difference. The volunteers will work with disabled participants, with other volunteers and with the staff members, so openness to working with mentally disabled people and ability to cooperate are essential. Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
Travel cost reimbursement: The nearest airport is Thessaloniki-Makedonia Airport (SKG) Volunteers will be reimbursed for their tickets (airplane, train, bus), both ways, according to the EU Distance Calculator. Accommodation: Volunteers will stay in an apartment that has 3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen. It will be equipped to meet the basic needs of the volunteer himself to live there with dignity. Additional equipment can be added on request and deemed necessary. Alimentation & Pocket money: Volunteers will monthly receive 140 EUR for food and 6 EUR pocket money per day.
Formação durante a atividade
Volunteers will take part in "On-Arrival Training" and "Mid-Term Training" organized by the National Agency. Additionally there will be internal trainings if need for any position.
Perfil do participante
We are looking for 3 for motivated and enthusiastic volunteers, able to get involved in cooperation and share their experiences and ideas, aged 18-30 years old, which will be chosen according to their motivational criteria, willingness to work in a team as well as commitment and interest to work with mentally disabled people. 3 young people who really want to live as a volunteer, to learn from their experience and to develop personal and professional skills.
