The project will be developed in the municipality of Lousame (province of La Coruña) from 15 April to 14 April (12 months). Lousame is a rural municipality with a geographical area of 93 km² and 3,350 inhabitants. Throughout the year, the entity organizes different cultural activities (summer camps...), social activities (activities at the Day Center, activities with the elderly...), sports (tours of hiking...) etc. It is intended that the two volunteers collaborate in the proposed activities, providing the different blocks of activities with personal support. The tasks of the two volunteers will be developed mainly in the field of youth and social services, although they will also carry out volunteer work in the field of culture, sports, etc. We believe that these volunteer activities are an excellent learning experience in the field of non-formal education, in which the young people who participate improve or acquire skills for their personal, educational and professional development
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
The accommodation of the two volunteers will be in a house or in an apartment shared by the two volunteers near the place of activities. The two volunteers will be given an amount of money for support. During the proyect, an employee of the town hall will accompany the volunteers to the transfer from the accommodation to the place of the activities and once finished they will be transferred to the place of accommodation. A bicycle will also provide to each volunteer to travel to the activities.
Formação durante a atividade
Volunteer tasks will be coordinated and supervised by the coordinator. There will be direct communication between then and they will have periodic meetings. Participating volunteers will be provided with linguistic training through the online platform created for this purpose (Erasmus+ OLS) and will be provided with support to resolve any questions they may have
Perfil do participante
Young and dynamic people willing to participate in sociocultural projects. We will give priority to them being participatory, dynamic, open and communicative people. It will also take into account the adaptability to live in a rural environment, taking into account the characteristics of the area where the activities will be developed, as well as their ability to work in teams and in groups.
