We are looking for 2 volunteers ready to work in the School Complex with Integrational and Special Classes in the village Waganowice nearby Krakow. This is fantastic place, very warm and friendly for volunteers. Your task there is support students with disabilities in their everyday activities in the school, but each volunteer has an opporutnity to choose the activities which are interesting for them (cooking, meetings with psychologist, art, music, sport, languages and other). Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
Volunteers live with other volunteers in the flat in Krakow. We also provide monthly cards for volunteers. Getting to this school is not easy in the beginning, but we help. In the beginning of each month volunteers receive pocket money (150 €) and food allowance (70€). We always transfer money to the volunteers bank account opened in Polish bank or Revolut. Foundation IB Polska rents flats for volunteers. There is up to 4 people in one flat, 1 or 2 people in a room. They share bathroom and kitchen. Volunteers get travel costs back to the amount based on the distance calculator.
Formação durante a atividade
IB Polska coordinators provide all important information about the project during recruitment and even more practical information shortly before volunteer's arrival to Krakow. Sending organisation from the volunteer's country is responsible for preparation for the project and volunteer's task is to participate in the metting (online or face to face). During the project volunteers participate in obligatory trainings provided by the Polish National Agency. The part of the project is also Polish course on-line. IB Polska also provides different trainings for volunteers.
Perfil do participante
We are not looking for volunteers with special skills, but communicative English is advantage, because it's the language of the project. We need people who are patient because students in this school have mental disabilities and they need more attention. Drawing, painting or playing instruments is welcome.
