The volunteer will join the Training institute of the French Red Cross in Toulouse. He/she will support the promotion of international mobility among Red Cross students by organizing differents events (Erasmus Days, ...) and creating promotional contents (written and video testimony, local guide for international students...). He/she will organise english conversation workshops. For 2 days per week, the volunteer will join the Local Unit of the French Red Cross in Toulouse to carry out diverse social actions. He/she will welcome and listen to Red Cross beneficiaries in solidarity activities that create social links, such as convivial snack moments, distribution of food aid, etc. The volunteer will be invited to propose a warm reception area to promote conviviality. He/she will support for digital inclusion through dedicated workshops.
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
The volunteer will have his own studio apartment in a student residence with free access to a gym. He/she will receive pocket money and money to buy food. He/she will by provided with a public transportation card.
Formação durante a atividade
The volunteer will have the opportunity to take French lessons (in groups, up to level B2) on a weekly basis at the Local Unit of the French Red Cross in Toulouse. At the end of the course, students can take DELF french language certification test. During their placement, they will receive Level 1 Civil Protection and First Aid training (PSC1).
Perfil do participante
We'll be delighted if you're motivated, dynamic and committed, with an interest in education, international cooperation and support for success/social action. We're counting on you to be open and willing to share your culture. Fluency English is desirable; an additional language is an asset. Curious and keen to learn, you will be able to demonstrate creativity and autonomy in your assignments.
