Opis
The volunteer will be part of the volunteer team at the French Red Cross Local Unit in Bagneux (near Paris). He/she will take part in projects aiming at helping isolated old people at home, and homeless people in the city. He/she will also support our second-hand clothes shop. She/He will be able to join other social actions of the Red Cross in Bagneux, take part in local unit team building and team activities. Depending on the motivation and French level, he/she will be part of the educational team by becoming trainer during First Aid training sessions.
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
The timetable could be flexible according to activities. However a typical volunteering day will start at 9am and finish at 5pm with a one-hour lunch break. The volunteer could be asked to work on evenings according to local branch’s events, and at least one Saturday/month. The volunteer will have two days off per week and two holidays per month. The volunteer will have his/her own room in a residence for young people, and receive an allowance for food.

A very social person, willing to socialize a lot with French persons of all ages Willing to live a real “Red Cross volunteer’s experience”, as 100% of the people in our local unit are volunteers and engaged on their free time Capable to take decisions in autonomy, propose new things, defend your ideas and report on the progression of your projects Happy with a very urban environment in Paris If you are very motivated to learn French and very creative to make yourself understood
