"A New Hope" is a creative and interactive project where volunteers will have a direct impact on supporting the educational and developmental growth of different vulnerable groups in Bulgaria: refugees, Roma and disabled children. "A New Hope" aims to develop equal yet adapted approaches across vulnerable groups, adapting specific needs and the social context to achieve a fair future for these children. Caritas Sofia is looking for a creative and dedicated volunteer with excellent communication skills in English, organizational skills and experience working with social media. If you are passionate about design and can create visually appealing content, we invite you to join our team! You will work closely with our communications team to develop engaging and impactful visual content for our online platforms. You will be able to showcase your creative abilities while contributing to our mission to support vulnerable groups and people in need.

Caritas Sofia will provide accommodation in a single room in an apartment with shared space for cooking and engaging with the other two volunteers in Sofia. All the costs for rent, electricity, water and internet are covered. The organization will transfer the participants' monthly pocket money and food allowances to the bank account in BGN. Participants with fewer Opportunities under certain circumstances will classified for additional support. In addition to that, you'll have a mobile sim card with a Bulgarian number and a card for city transport. Travel costs will be reimbursed.

In addition to the activities at the centres, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in advertising, marketing and design. Your responsibilities will be related to photographing Caritas events and initiatives, storytelling them, helping the marketing and communication director with her daily tasks and designing brochures, materials, banners, newsletters, and other marketing materials. Your skills will help the Caritas Sofia team promote the organisation's work and create new ideas.

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English •Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. •Excellent prioritisation skills. •Deadline-oriented and inquisitive, with excellent follow-up and reporting skills. •Understanding of social media and solid experience working with content. • Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Photoshop, Illustrator, Corell Draw (or similar). • An excellent sense of typography, layout, general design principles and attention to detail. • Strong design, drawing, colour, composition and conceptual ideation abilities
