The Citizen's house (Istres, France) is looking for : 2 volunteers ready to start a mission in september 2024, for 9 months. Integrated within a team composed of 6 french volunteers, the 2 international volunteers will participate in various missions in the city of Istres : SOLIDARITY : workshops with people in precarious situations, senior citizens and children with disabilities. ENVIRONNEMENT : workshops about the preservation of biodiversity. ART AND CREATIVITY : workshops within a primary school. SPORT : help organise a sport chalenge, workshops to promote individual health and maintain a collective dynamic. CULTURE : workshops to promote local heritage. The group of 8 volunteers will be daily supervised by a coordinator / coach. You’ll participate in team building activities and trainings, that will be part of your mission. You’ll have to wear a specific outfit provided by the city of Istres. You’ll be able to propose your own idea («blank page» mission).
Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
30 hours per week (monday, tuesday, thursday and friday) from 9am to 5pm. In exceptional cases, volunteers will be asked to work in the evening or the week-end. Both international volunteers will share a flat (single rooms) close from the Citizen’s house and the city center. Allowance : 400 euros / month Food is provided for lunch breaks on monday, tuesday, thursday and friday Budget for the travel (and visa if needed) Insurance (Henner) Zou card to travel in the region by train and bus with a 90% discount A bike and a bus card

2 seminars with the Erasmus + Agency 2 seminars with Hors Pistes 2 cohesion seminars with the 6 french volunteers of the Citizen’s house
Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος
We are looking for 2 dynamic and motivated volunteers with an interest in the missions proposed. Basic level in french or a real taste for the french language and a wish to learn the language. No particular skills are required but an experience in animation would be a plus.
