INTRAS is a no-profit organization working in the field of mental health since 1994. Its main goal is to foster the recovery and improve the quality of life of people with mental health issues. Volunteers will collaborate in the Projects Unit where they will write/design blog, leaflets, video, etc. related to different projects the organization is involved in to promote the inclusion of the organization target groups; carry out researches and investigations, participate at the elaboration of reports, articles, etc. on different topics related to mental health and inclusion. In addition, if interested in sports, volunteers will be engaged in sports activities where they will support the recovery and promote the improvement of the quality of life of people with mental health issues,
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
The volunteer will have a private room in a shared flat. He/she will receive a monthly allowance for food and a pocket money for personal expenses. In case to need local transport to reach the venue of the activities, the volunteer will be provided with a bus card which will be periodically recharged by the hosting organization.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
The volunteer will have the chance to participate in some of the training activities provided in the framework of projects in which the organization is involved.
Teilnehmerprofil
The ideal candidate for the position should have: - High motivation and willingness to work with people with mental health issues; - The volunteer should be open-minded, patient, dynamic and creative; - The volunteer should have at least an intermediate knowledge of English because this is the working language in the Projects Unit. - A basic knowledge of Spanish will be positevely valued for those candidates interested in collaborating in sports activities oo.
