Our structure is built around 4constituent centers: high school for general and technological education, whichhas the particularity of hosting sections of the French national education,a farmfocused on dairy, pork, sheep and market garden production (all organic); and two training centers for adults and apprentices. Missions : Raising our students' awareness of international solidarity and cultural diversity. Participation in and organization of festivals Promote our young people's openness to the international community. Contribute to the preparation and organization ofInternational Solidarity Week. Raising students' awareness of European mobility and supporting youngpeople in their mobility projects Participate to a collectiv project with others volunteers

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The volunteer will have a room in a furnished apartment at the Lycée, and will shareliving quarters with language assistants also assigned to the school for the year (kitchen,dining room, bathroom and toilets)He or she will be able to use the Lycée's catering servicefrom Monday morning to Friday lunchtime (breakfast, lunch and dinner. The travel expenseswill be reimbursed on the basis defined by the European Commission. Pocket money will beprovided, plus money for covering the food and local transport expenses.

Training during the activity

The volunteer will take part in an on : - Arrival seminar and mid-term evaluation,organised by the French National Agency - Internal training in the Lycée Theodore Monod -Languages courses and regular mentoring

Participant profile

The volunteer must be dynamic, open to others, to languages and to the cultural diversity ofEurope. He/she must be willing to exchange ideas and benefit from the richness of the proposedenvironment. Motivation to work with others will be a determining factor. Volunteers musthave a minimum of autonomy to make the most of the various opportunities. He/she will need toadapt to an audience of high school and university students. An interest in interculturalissues, international solidarity and the environment is expected. An interest in sports andart would be a plus.
