Description
As part of a partnership between the town of Lattes and the Concordia association since 2023, we have been developing volunteering and mobility projects for young people. the volunteer will take part in the development of the project QJ a place to get involved: - talking to young people about Europe and its mobility schemes - organizing events (language cafés, forums, cultural evenings, exhibitions, concerts) - take part in information sessions elsewhere in the department on volunteering and international mobility. As we believe that doing a CES also means getting involved in the association's activities, we ask volunteers to take part in local events and activities organized by Concordia and the region (participation in local and regional workcamps). Moreover, we encourage volunteers to develop a personal project besides their initial missions. In July and August the volunteer will participate to the workcamps with Concordia as a co-leader
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The accommodation for the volunteers is a beautiful villa with a large garden. You will have your own single room. The villa has 3 bedrooms and you will be sharing the house with other volunteers. The villa is large and has all the necessary comforts. The ESC programme is free of charge! It is funded by a grant from the European Commission. The grant covers accommodations, food, health insurance, necessary visas, and the round trip tickets (according to the maximum sum allowed by the programme). Additionally, you will receive pocket money of €6 per day
Training during the activity
On-arrival training and mid-term training organize by the french national agency of Erasmus+. You can also take part in training courses organised by Concordia or its partners.
Participant profile
Are you interested in international mobility and the Erasmus + project? You're curious, positive and want to get involved in a popular education association. You have a basic knowledge of French or would like to learn the language. Please send us your CV and covering letter. The most important thing is motivation!
