Description
The Regional Youth Information Center Normandy (Info Jeunes Normandie) is looking for 1 european volunteer to promote European citizenship and youth international mobility to local youth in the city of Rouen in Normandy. The volunteer will: - Raise the awareness of local youth about Europe and going abroad by doing workshop in schools - preparing and performing language workshops in English and mother tongue - contributing to various events - Encourage intercultural dialogue with the public by developing pedagogical tools and methods in order to talk about European citizenship. - Animate WhatsApp communities of volunteers - Help the team to realise its actions throughout the year. - Carry out your own personal project on the theme of Europe.
Modalités d'hébergement, de restauration et de transport
According to the European Solidarity Corps programme, the project covers all costs related to: - Travel from your home country (back and forth), - Accomodation - Food and pocket money (monthly allowance), - Public transport - Health insurance You will be hosted in the university campus of Rouen The room (studio) will be furnished, has a bathroom and kitchen and has access to a wifi connection. There is also public transport available. You will get: - a public transportation card - a free access to the Online Language
Formation pendant l’activité
Support : 1 tutor and 1 external mentor. The 2 compulsory Erasmus trainings : on-arrival and mid-term.
Profil du participant
You have social skills and creativity. You are interested in European citizenship and democratic participation You are happy to talk in public, share your experience, help others in their project abroad You are ok to work in an office You are used to digital tools and social media. You must understand French and be able to talk.
