Educational farm and social tourism

Beschreibung

In the middle of a protected area in Stoumont, South of Belgium, le Fagotin welcomes you. With us, you'll work through all our activities : social tourism (creation of communication tools, point of contact for visiting tourists, support for the kitchen team, help with room preparation and family activities...) ; educationnal farm (animal care, goat milking and cheese making, workcamp...). You'll be in contact with a lot of people : schools, youngsters from the local community, tourists, families and could practice your educational talents in french with them by accompanying our team (17 people). Our values are Sustainability, Solidarity, Citizenship and Benevolence.

Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten

Le Fagotin has its own Youth Hostel with 51 beds. Each room have individual beds and shared bathroom facilities. The center also also have commons spaces. The cost of meals is covered by the partner. On this basis, Le Fagotin provides meals according arrangements depending on whether or not the center hosts other activities. Le Fagotin is located in the rural village of Stoumont. Mobility is complicated. In case of need, shuttles between Le Fagotin and the train station can be organized by members of the team.

Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit

The tasks entrusted to Fagotin's young volunteers are unique in that they are practical and carried out in a professional context with youth and environmental workers. From this experience, the young volunteer will draw a professional and personal baggage in terms of knowledge and know-how.
