The main focus of CISR e.V. is to support the democratic development of civil societies in Eastern Europe as well as other partner countries and promote the exchange between them. The organisation carries out social research as well as non-formal education and exchange projects in the fields of urbanism and urban activism, media, migration, peaceful conflict transformation and others. Possible tasks of the volunteer: Support in the preparation, implementation and follow-up of educational and exchange programs, seminars, trainings, study visits, conferences, etc; Assistance to the head of the organisation; Thematic and contact research; Communication with the project participantsTravel logistics and support for participants on site; Support of social media channels; Initiative and development/implementation of own project ideas are very welcome.
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
You will accomplish your ESC service in a motivated, diverse team. CISR provides monthly allowance in the amount of 450 Euros and accommodation in a single room in a shared flat. The insurance is covered within the ESC program. The volunteer will also attend a German language course, organised by CISR e.V. Volunteering activity will mostly take place in the office of CISR e.V. in Berlin. Accompaniment of the project trips to other countries is possible.
Formação durante a atividade
Volunteers are also encouraged to learn the German language and an language course will be organised by the organisation. The participation on the Preparatory Meeting (before the ESC Activity), organised by CISR. The On Arrival and the Mid-Term Training, organised by the National Agency for the ESC Program. In addition to this, volunteers are very welcome to attend educational, and exchange project activities offered by CISR e.V., depending on their interests and capacities.
Perfil do participante
Young people living/residing in the mentioned countries; Age: 24-30 years old; Interest in the organisations activities and topics; Openness to collaboration with people of diverse backgrounds; Initiative and willingness to learn the new things are welcome; Knowledge of German and/or English is appreciated but not a requirement.
