ROAD TO PARTICIPATION 2024

Περιγραφή

The volunteer will fulfill their mission at Compañia de Maria School, Puente Genil (ages 3 to 16) https://bit.ly/3JBozik. The school provides a beautiful environment with dedicated teachers and educators. Volunteers will integrate into school life, supporting educational development and encouraging public participation among young people. The project's aim is to help young volunteers improve their skills, gain training and experience, and enhance their social and personal abilities. Main tasks include assisting teachers, developing creative activities and workshops, supporting children and youth with special needs, assisting in language conversation workshops, dining room monitoring, and organizing and leading outdoor activities for a summer school (June-August), including playing games with kids. Additionally, volunteers will promote ESC, Erasmus+ E citizenship, and mobility. We offer 2 places for European participants and 1 place for a Spanish participant.

Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης

All according to ESC rules. The volunteer will be accommodated in a shared apartment with other volunteers (2-3 in total), located in the town center. They will have a separate bedroom, and a shared kitchen, living room, bathroom, and terrace. Public transportation will not be necessary. The volunteer will receive a monthly allowance of 215 € for food and 185 € as pocket money, totaling 400 € per month. All other expenses are covered by the host organization. Κατάρτιση κατά τη δραστηριότητα

Volunteers must participate in on-arrival training and mid-term evaluation organized by the Spanish National Agency. Additionally, they are expected to attend pre-departure training arranged by their sending organizations. Volunteers will have access to Online Linguistic Support for the entire duration of the project.

Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος

The ideal volunteer is someone who likes children and young people, is open and outgoing, eager to communicate, and ready to take action. They should feel motivated to contribute to the growth and learning of children and young people. Sensitivity to cooperation and solidarity, curiosity, openness to others, and an interest in intercultural communication are essential. The volunteer should also be critical and creative in their ability to participate constructively in the life of the institution. Organizational skills, team spirit, and an interest in education are highly valued, as well as self-reliance. A good command of Spanish or English is appreciated but not mandatory. Additionally, the volunteer should be interested in Erasmus+ and ESC programs and be available for the full 11-month duration.
