Opis
The host organization is dedicated to collaborating with volunteers who contribute to various aspects of life, including sports, culture, hospitals, and tutoring programs for children, among others. As a volunteer, you will help raise awareness about their projects, engage in daily administrative tasks, enhance their online presence, and manage social media accounts. Additionally, you will assist the staff in various activities, such as mentoring children aged 7 to 15 who require special educational or social support. You will have the opportunity to organize events, network with professionals, collaborate with local community establishments like cinemas, museums, libraries, and art galleries, and assist in coordinating charity events such as concerts and clothing exchanges. You'll also be able to help out on the social side at the local refugee center, as well as helping Ukrainian colleagues create activities for their community.
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
You will be accommodated in local dormitories. Additionally, you will receive a monthly allowance of between 150 € and 180 € as pocket money, along with a separate allowance as food money (to be specified during the interview). You will be provided with a pass for local bus. The travel from Italy to Czech Republic and back is fully reimbursed. An insurance company will protect you from any risk.
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
You'll attend 3 official training sessions: a pre-departure one before leaving Italy, an on arrival one a few weeks after your advent in Czech Republic and a third one at around half of your volunteering. You'll be also provided with course of Czech.
Profil uczestnika
As an ideal volunteer, you should be open to new ideas and perspectives, enthusiastic about engaging in various tasks such as leisure activities and workshop preparation, and collaborative with strong teamwork skills. You should also have a good command of English for effective communication. You also need to be flexible and ready for any change. You need to be open-minded and take initiative.
