Rise Up - Youngs Minds, Loud Voices
Österreichische Kinderfreunde
Wien, Österreich
Beschreibung
Österreichische Kinderfreunde is a children and youth organisation. It has about 300 local groups that are organised in 9 federal branches. Kinderfreunde and Rote Falken run children’s groups, kindergartens, indoor-playgrounds, family, youth centres and a lot more. Within your ESC-project you will be part of 3 different projects. Connect: Where you will strengthen the team and support them in providing leisure time activities for young refugees in primary care facilities. Rote Falken/Kinderfreunde: We will host an international summer camp in 2025 and for this activity we see strong value for volunteers to look behind the scenes. This means creating a diverse, meaningful and fun program for different age groups by using non-formal education. Falkencamp Döbriach: For June, July and August, you would spend your time in the camp in a southern valley of Austria. You will learn more about our work and our campsite.
Beitrag zu Unterbringung, Verpflegung und Reisekosten
You will be situated in Vienna and will be accommodated in a student’s dormitory. In order to be able to pay for your meals, you will get a monthly food subsidy additional to your pocket money of 213,5€.
Fortbildung im Rahmen der Tätigkeit
As soon as we welcomed you into the project, we will have a common meeting about fears, expectations and needs. There we will also talk about training opportunities you can take into consideration during your stay.
