Rosenhof Bieswang is a non-profit association which contains the respectful encounter between humans, animals, horses and nature in general. Everyone shall be accepted in his or her singularity as indiviudal. The Rosenhof supports with the help of the horses different people in the development of their personality, according to their own kind and their talents. As a remedial therapeutic stable we have around 15 horses and a lot of other "typical" farm animals. In addition to therapeutic horseback riding we also offer integrated riding lessons, based on the method "Centered Riding", as well as the training of riding horses. Moreover, our farm offers riding holidays for different groups and farm holidays for families. School classes spend their schooltrips on our farm, as well as several other welfare services. Our target group mostly consists of children and youth in the age of 3 to 16 years with and without disabilities, but also adults use our services.
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
Accomodation is provided in a shared apartment, probably with another volunteer (of the same sex) in a dobule room, directly on the farm. The volunteers will receive a monthly payment for grocery shopping and a monthly pocket money in the amount of 210€. Please be aware that the Rosenhof is in a very rural area and it takes some time to get to the next town and bigger city. The organisation can provide a bike for you.
Formação durante a atividade
The volunteers will receive at least one German language course and additionally the online language course via the OLS system. The volunteers get the possibility to take part in the meetings of the team and will also have meetings only with the tutor on a regular basis. They will take part in two obligatory trainings, organized by the German National Agency, and additionally in one workshop, organized by the coordinating organization VIA e.V.
Perfil do participante
If you like horses and animals, this is the perfect project for you! You should be interested in spending a lot of time outside and working with animals in general and in the nature, in all kinds of weather. Moreover, you should be interested in working with children. It is important to know that the farm is in a rural area and you should show some initiative to look for acvitities. Some creative, technical, sports and/or music skills would help you during work and daily life in general. Candidates should have English skills at least, German skills are very welcome, too.
