Opis
Merhamet is committed to assisting IDPs, returnees, and vulnerable families in need through humanitarian assistance and socio-economic empowerment. Your main goal will be to enhance the organization’s public image and visibility through strategic media relations, content creation, and high-profile event management while developing and implementing communication strategies to boost stakeholder engagement and awareness of humanitarian efforts. Your main tasks will be: ● Developing and implementing communication strategies, including crafting messages and choosing channels ● Managing social media by creating content, pitching stories, posting updates, engaging with followers, and ensuring brand consistency ● Assisting in organizing and managing events like fairs, press conferences, and public appearances ● Tracking and analyzing PR campaign results, adjust strategies as needed, and report on effectiveness.
Zakwaterowanie, wyżywienie i transport
The volunteer will be provided with a lockable and safe place, with a bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom in the city center near the office premises. They might share the place with another volunteer. In addition to receiving accommodation, the volunteer will receive a monthly allowance to cover other daily expenses such as meals, local transportation, communication, and other living necessities. Public transport is not commonly used, and the volunteer can use bicycles, walk, or even use public electric scooters.
Szkolenie w trakcie działania
The volunteer will attend a pre-departure training to prepare for the opportunity, as well as an on-arrival training which will introduce the participants to the host country. Along with Code of Conduct orientation and Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults training, Merhamet can provide training on the Project Cycle Management to enable better understanding of programming and conducting activities. Volunteers will be offered the opportunity to participate in other Merhamet’s capacity-building activities.
