Apprentis d’Auteuil is a Foundation composed of more than 200 youth centers. Its goals are to welcome, educate, train and insert more than 30,000 young people in distress and accompany their families. We help them to gain confidence in themselves and the adult world. Your main mission will be to accompany underpriviledged young people in their school lives, trainings, hobbies and their insertions. More especially, you will : - Participate in the discovery of the german language in class (e.g. animate german language « awakening » classes (playing, listening, moving, repeating, speaking, singing) - Support teachers and educators in caring for children during school and after-school hours - Develop intercultural, solidary and « openness » activities
Comparticipação nas despesas de alojamento, alimentação e transporte
During your mission, you will receive a monthly financial compensation for pocket money, food and public transportation. You will have access to the school canteen during your mission for lunch time. The organisation will provide an accommodation for the future volunteer. All of these details will be mentionned in the volunteer agreements. It will vary depending of the length of the mission.
Formação durante a atividade
The French national agency for ESC projects will run 2 seminars in which the volunteer will be invited to take part. Also, you will have access to the OLS platform which offers online french trainings during your mission. Moreover, Apprentis d’Auteuil provides training such as « how to animate an activity on education for citizenship and international solidarity ».
Perfil do participante
This mission is particularly suitable for any candidates who want to open up to others and are keen to human relations, and discover the social and teaching professions. The volunteer who would like be involved in this mission should have a certain ability to listen and, if possible, should also have skills in animation and school support. - German speaking volunteer (B2 level / advanced) - Basic French speaking skills (A2 level)
