Independent cultural venue looking for creative volunteers

We are looking for a new team of volunteers to join A4 in 2025. Each volunteer can choose their specialisation among the following: video-making, photography, PR or technical support. The video-maker records the A4 events, artist interviews, does the post-editing and uploading of videos on A4’s YouTube. The photographer takes pictures of the A4 events, does editing in Photoshop / Lightroom and uploads the pictures on A4 Virtual Gallery. The PR creates the graphic layouts of A4 communication materials and focuses on social media management. The technical support assists the team of technicians with preparing the stage, setting the sound & light systems for events and video production. All the participants will cooperate with local professionals to develop their skills and should bring their own computer. Other activities depend on mutual discussion and on individual preferences, background and profile of the volunteer. They can develop their own project. More info www.a4.sk
Διαμονή, διατροφή και έξοδα μετακίνησης
Expenses within the project are covered. The volunteers will be housed in a shared apartment. Travel costs to and from Slovakia at the beginning and end of the project are covered. There is 1 bike available for commuting around the city. The volunteers also receive a transport card for travelling within the city. The participants will receive pocket money and food money. This is around €320 a month. The volunteers will have Slovak language lessons to learn the basics.

1. On-arrival and mid-term training sessions organised by the Slovak National Agencies. 2. Short training sessions (1-3 days) in light design, graphic design, photography, videography, editing. 3. Regular weekly meetings with the all A4 team members 4. Regular weekly meetings about particular topics and tasks with our experts (production, PR, management) 5. Regular weekly meetings with ESC coordinator 6. Any other needed support for developing your own competences and your own projects.
Προφίλ συμμετέχοντος
The participant has an interest in contemporary art, culture and society. Wants to be part of a creative team and learn how an independent cultural organisation works. In this context, they are working in a team and bring in pro-active energy. The participant is flexible: the work schedule depends on the program of events. We are looking for volunteers with a creative approach who will be dedicated and actively look for new tasks and activities. It is preferred that the participant has some creative skills in photography, web design and general knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite.
