Sustainable Living and Organisation V
Mundekulla Kurs Retreat Konferens AB
Långasjö, Sweden
Description
Mundekulla is retreat center located in the middle of the forest. We also produce organic vegetables, greens, and fruits in our own permaculture garden. You will experience different fields of sustainability - food, garden, forest, building and community/guest experience - through workshops delivered by our departments heads, hands-on learning-by-doing, and excursions to inspiring local projects. In weekly meetings we plan the work and share our learnings during the project. The volunteer work is 35 hours a week, this includes meetings, reflection time and workshops. Excursions are not included in the working hours. You will have two free days per week for exploring, relaxing, travel or personal projects. Since Mundekulla is hospitality business, free days may not necessary fall on the weekend.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
There are two Volunteer Houses, one on the grounds and one a short walk from Mundekulla. They both have their own kitchen, shared bathrooms, a little terrace and 4 bedrooms, it is simple but cosy. We serve vegan and vegetarian food, made with mainly organic and local ingredients. During events you’ll eat with the guests in the restaurant. In between events we make community lunch for working days. For the rest, Mundekulla provides ingredients and you cook in the volunteer house.
